This is post number 300.

As of two minutes ago, these are my current stats dating back to April 2012.

In 2 years and 5 months, not a month has gone by that someone hasn’t taken the time to stop by and visit my humble little blog.

A lot has changed since April 2012…and even more before that. I started this blog in January 2012. Life was good…life has always been good…it just didn’t feel good some times. There were some clouds, and some storms, but I braced myself in the wind. Some days I even danced in the rain. 2012 was a tough year in the beginning, but it ended on a very high note.

Wow…to think back about how this blog started before Witchlette…and only a few months before Witchlette. It feels like years before, but it was not that long at all.

And now that she’s here, the worse I ever face is a sun-shower. No matter how heavy the rains get, there are always some of the sun’s rays peeking through those dark, heavy clouds.

Posting to this blog helped. It’s always been an outlet, a positive way to share and connect, to teach and learn. For me it’s also been a healing process at times.

It’s always been good.

Thanks to anyone who ever stopped by, even just once. Thanks to those to keep stopping in regularly and to those who follow.

When I first started this blog, my first ever post, was called “Giving it a try” because I thought it may end up as something fleeting. Something I do once or twice a week for a few months, then cast aside for my next endeavor. I am notorious for starting projects but never finishing them. But I have stuck with this, and for that, I feel really proud.

Although who knows? Maybe 300 is about half way through and I’m going to cast it aside at about 450 ;-P

Seriously though…here’s to 300 in the books and to at least 300 more on the horizon!

  • Congratulations on the big 300! The numbers freak in me was playing compare & contrast with our stat-charts. I think I spend too much time trying to figure out the strange viewership ebb and flow of this place. I’ve always been one to look for patterns in the chaos. lol

  • Hi! I’ve never posted here before, but I wanted to tell you I like your blog. Also, I live in Mooresville, NC (I’m sure you’ve heard of it because it’s RACE CITY, USA, haha) which is only 2.5 hours from you, so it’s cool to think of a like-minded person being not so far away.

    • Hi! Thank you for your comment. I actually have family, a cousin, in Moorseville. One time her mom booked a hotel in Morrisville, small town outside of Raleigh, rather than Mooresville.
