Search term

Published June 24, 2013 by Lunapo

I love looking at the search terms which bring people to my humble little blog.

Today’s term was “traveling the nine worlds of yggdrasil”.

I have written about Yggdrasil, the Norse tree of life whose branches contain each of the nine worlds. I have not, however, thought about how one may travel between them.

I’m going to do some research and see if I can find any reference to how the Asir traveled between worlds (other than Asgard and Midgard, as that route is known to be Bifrost). Many of the stories I have read include the gods in a world that is not Asgard: Helheim, Niflheim, Jotunheim for instance.

I will also provide any reference to meditative travels I should come across for us Midgard residents to use.

So, if you were the one whom searched this to find my blog, please come back in a few weeks! I hope to have an answer for you!
