New Moon

Published January 14, 2013 by Lunapo

Friday was a New Moon. A time of renewal and beginnings. My aunt passed away on Thursday. I didn’t realize the connection between her passing and the Lunar Cycle until just now.

I have a feeling her passing that close to the New Moon made it an easier transition for her. I know it doesn’t help those who are here much to know this. I know there are many, many people who’s lives she touched and who are and will continue to be inconsolable for quite some time.

Now is a time for mourning, a time for sorrow. Soon will come time for reflection, and for remembrance. Then, will come a time for joy and a time to dance. For she lived a wonderful life full of love. Yes, she passed too young. Yes, she was taken over by a horrible disease. But to the very end she was surrounded by love.

And that’s all that matters.
