Today is the day we celebrate Santa: the joy of giving and receiving gifts with friends and family. After sleeping in (the last Xmas morning Hubby and I will have to do so for a while…), we will have a nice, quiet breakfast. I’m sure we will seek out the Saturnalia and Newtonmas episodes of Big Bang Theory. Perhaps we will watch the local Christmas parade. After a small lunch, we will head across town to my mom’s house, where we will exchange gifts with her. I’ll be driving so that I can show off my new car (after presents are opened, because I don’t want to give away the big surprise too soon).
This year, Hubby and I have the best gift of all. Nothing that could be bought in a store could nearly compare.
If you haven’t guessed by now (either by the lullabies post, or the new car post, or what I have just stated…)
We are having a little witchlet join our family in late June/early July. (official due date 7/2/12).
I have mentioned previously that I battled with infertility. No pain, no gain. We are gaining a lot.
We are giving our mothers frames that say “Love the Little Things” with a picture of this ultrasound.
So my Prius is my “ultra-safe, ultra-efficient, Mommy car”.
I can’t promise that this blog won’t become more devoted to babies and kids and the like, but I will try to keep it as balanced as possible.
