Modern & Pagan (PBP M2-week 26)

Published June 29, 2012 by Lunapo

Paganism is generally about getting back to the old ways. For me, it is about reconnecting with the ways of my ancestors as well as reverence for the Earth.

But think about it: my Celtic ancestors didn’t have computers, smart phones, Internet, TV, 2000 square foot houses, grocery stores, and shopping malls.

So how can I truly be Pagan, truly live the way of my ancestors if I live and enjoy everything today has to offer.

Here’s how: if the Celts were alive today, they would take advantage of modern technology. They would, as I am, keep to traditions that fit within the parameters of modern life.

After all, of we didn’t have modern pagans, we wouldn’t have Pagan Blog Project!
